About

I am an unapologetic learner! I’ve always enjoyed delving into the unknown and trying to make sense of it.

When I’m at work~I wear two hats. I am piloting an ecology class for 8th graders called Investigative Environmental Science (IES). I am also a generalist instructional coach for the building–a 7-8 middle school in St. Joseph, Missouri.

When I’m at play~ I play volleyball good enough to play in a Power League (but we usually end up toward the bottom of the ranks) : ), I read, read, read… For total relaxation, my heart beats faster for a suspenseful novel that’s part FBI drama, part love story, with a few psychic twists thrown in.

And, as always, spending time with my family and friends is a must!

Join me at Thinkin’ Thoughts. It’s about how we think. And more specifically, it’s about how we think about learning. We’ll look at the rigor of learning, the role of technology in secondary schools, and how collaborative experiences will benefit us all.
